Thank you for your interest in
American Freedom Maids

Like many people in your area, you have decided that getting a maid service is no longer a luxury but a necessity.  Your only question now is which one?  All maid services are not created equal, so American Freedom Maids has put together a list of important questions to ask to help you receive the quality you are looking for.

QUESTIONS TO ASK

Do you have these insurances?
1.        Liability
2.        Workers compensation
3.        Auto Insurance
4.        Bonding
Always ask for a certificate of insurance that covers all the policies.  Bonding alone protects you from very little.  They should have all of the above for your protection.

Do you have a Quality Control Manager?
In addition to a supervisor who is on each team, we are one of the only maid services that have Quality Control Managers in the field.  Their primary job is to insure the quality of our work.  We are so concerned about the quality of our work, that in the event you are not satisfied with your cleaning, simply give us a call within 24 hours and a Quality Control Manager will come to your home within one business day to correct any mistakes.

What benefits do you give your employees?
We are one of the only maid services that gives our employees medical and life insurance benefits, paid holidays and vacations.  We care as much about our employees as we do for our customers.  By keeping our employees proud to be part of a caring organization, we keep our quality and standards high.

Do you furnish cars and uniforms to your employees?
Furnishing cars, equipment and uniforms plays a very important part in keeping quality high.  If a maid service forces their employees to use their own cars, supplies and equipment, it could result in a very high turnover rate, which results in poor quality.  If an employee’s car breaks down, you may not get a clean that day.  If an employee is not supplied with proper products to clean with, you may end up with an inadequate clean or damage to your possessions by use of the wrong materials.

How are the maids paid?
Some other maid services pay their employees just for the time they are in the house or a percentage of the cost with no pay for their drive time.  At American Freedom Maids, our employees are paid the same hourly rate all day long, including their drive time.  This eliminates the temptation to cut corners during your clean to make up for unpaid drive time.

Do you have a training program?
We do extensive training for each new employee.  Each new employee is taken out on their first day and trained.  They are under close supervision, to learn the techniques and tools of “The American Freedom Maids System”.  This system is described in detail in our American Freedom Maids handbook, which each employee receives when they join our team.

Do you send two, three or four person maid teams?

This can be an area of personal preference; however, here at American Freedom Maids, we feel three or four person teams are best for several reasons:
1.  They don’t get tired out as quickly because each job is broken down into smaller segments resulting in fewer mistakes.
2.  If one of our employees gets sick the least amount of maids you would ever get would be two.  A maid service that operates with teams of two could result in one maid who may be unfamiliar with your home and be totally unsupervised.
3.  Supervisors assign and record responsibilities for each employee.  This total accountability results in better quality and security.
